Ok, so it's harder to narrow down a few favourites from 5 years of Scrapbooking. Therefore, I recruited my husband to help me out. Yeah, bad idea. I think his favourites were the polar opposite of mine. But since he may see something I don't, that I should probably give his favourites some blogspace time too...
Using multiple mats is an easy way to fill a page where an 8x10 photo might usually suit. I like that by using the 5x7, I was able to tell the story of Caleb and his cupcake.
Sometimes the best pictures just aren't posed.
Mosaic Technique. I've never done it before this layout, because most of the samples I've seen involve flowers, and I don't photograph flowers. But I love how the technique allowed me to make Marc and Caleb the focus of this layout even though they were a small part of the photo. They are also both pop-dotted so that they stand out even more in my album.
Awwww... I mean, what else can you say? My baby and our hero.
A really easy layout that just turned out so good. I love that we brought all Caleb's favourite toys to this photoshoot.
An layout that I designed for one intro class that I was teaching - that just turned out so pretty.
Paper tearing to match the photos... this was such a beautiful scene...
Most of my layouts are double layouts. I just seem to have too much that I want to convey in my album! I like how I placed the vellum on the photo and cut out the ovals to focus on Caleb and the plane he was about to get on.
This is an older layout; I made it about 3 years ago, but I keep coming back to it. There's just something about how I captured the spirit of the day. I miss Nancy and Adrian. They live too far away. :(
Most of my wedding album is very simple. I haven't really put much into it. Marc really likes this one... I'm kinda on the fence...
